About
YOU’RE PROBABLY WONDERING HOW I GOT HERE..
My journey behind the camera started with my love for acting, I always wanted to be on camera, but there wasn’t always someone available to film me. So I took the time to learn how to film myself.
My first camera was an Olympus point-and-shoot camera; that wasn’t a bad camera. It had enough variables and settings that any beginner would appreciate. When I got to college, along with my acting classes, I took a class on film studies and two production classes. Taking those film classes was the best decision I made, as though I wasn’t a media or communication major, and the class credits didn’t go to my Theatre Major.
Shortly after learning about film I took my camera out to traverse the field of photography. I learned mostly through Youtube before becoming a student in the Donda House visual arts program in Chicago, IL.
The amount of knowledge I gained from those classes and my determination to become a cinematographer helped me become who I am today.
I have worked with big commercial clients ranging from Warner Music Group, Mielle Organics, Rollingout, Power 92 Chicago, ORS, Chicago Bears, and many more.
I aim to establish my own unique footprint in the film space and create awe-inspiring stories that will inspire future generations.
